Live After FiveLive After Five
Presented by Anchorage Downtown Partnership
Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 5:30 pm - Town Square Park

Come enjoy the Alaskan summer at our annual Summer Concert Series: Live After Five, right in the heart of downtown in Town Square Park!

Every Thursday night, 5:30-7:30pm and sponsored by Alaska Airlines and KTVA 11, this fun, annual, free event features good eats, a beer & wine garden, prizes and live music from local & out-of-state artists! The 2019 season runs from June 6th to August 8th. (*There will be NO concert on July 4th*) This season’s beer garden is sponsored by Humpy’s Great Alaska Alehouse and K&L Distributors featuring new beers and wine every week in the beer garden. Humpy’s will also be selling delicious eats and classic Alaskan food at each concert!

Summer Schedule

A new performer every week!

  • July 25 — Hannah Yoter Band
Hannah Yoter is well versed in the language of acoustic music. From an early age her world was filled with songs and stories that spanned generations and genres of folk music. Hannah has assembled a band and refined her sound that sits right in the middle of Americana roots and classic country. Hannah and her band have traveled all over the state for numerous performances and opened for acts such as Lonestar, Ha Ha Tonka, Pretty Gritty and The California Honeydrops.

  • August 1 — Blackwater Railroad Company
Alaska’s biggest folk rock band and 2018 Live After Five crowd favorite, Blackwater Railroad Company is back again for Live After Five to get everybody dancing.

Like good moonshine, this folk-rock group was formed in the small town of Seward in 2012, and consistently delivers warm, cheery evenings. The music can be defined in many ways, but the overarching themes include folk, bluegrass, rhythm and blues and country songwriters from the late 60s and 70s.

  • August 8 — I Like Robots
I LIKE ROBOTS FIRST RULE is if you LOVE the 80s — go see I Like Robots! Playing genres and hits from the 80s, I like robots will bring a ton of synthetic sounds creating a dance party you won’t want to miss!

Another free downtown community event brought to you by Anchorage Downtown Partnership, made possible by KTVA Channel 11, iHeart Radio, Alaska Airlines, and GCI Alaska
